Recently, Sen Qilin stated that the company's Phase II project in Thailand has entered the stage of full production and operation.
It is reported that the designed production capacity of Senqilin Thailand Phase II is 6 million high-performance semi steel radial tires and 2 million high-performance all steel radial tires per year. With the production of this project, the annual production capacity of Senqilin semi steel radial tires has reached 28 million pieces.
It is understood that the stability and consistency of product quality in the second phase of the factory have been improved by about 30%, production efficiency has been increased by about 20%, equipment utilization has been increased by about 15%, product defect rate has been reduced by about 30%, equipment maintenance costs have been reduced by about 20%, procurement costs have been reduced by about 10%, and inventory costs have been reduced by about 10%.
The company's level of intelligent manufacturing has further improved. The second phase of Senqilin Thailand factory adopts the independently developed "Senqilin Intelligent Manufacturing System" to help create higher quality, higher efficiency, lower cost, and lower investment effects.
According to data, in the first quarter of 2023, Sen Qilin's Thailand factory produced 2.9695 million semi steel radial tires, and out of the 2.9695 million tires produced by the Thai factory, 1.0228 million came from the production facilities of the Phase II project.
The company stated that orders continued to fall short in August, with two production bases in Qingdao and Thailand operating at full capacity.
