Whether it is cement mortar or tile adhesive (water-based tile adhesive), it cannot directly penetrate and combine with the tile. The release agent is powder, and the tile adhesive is directly brushed. On the release agent, the whole is damaged, resulting in the failure of the tile adhesive to form a film. Even if some tile adhesives can hardly form a film, due to the isolation of the release agent, the external force is easily peeled from the back of the tile and loses the bonding effect.
The release agent is not removed, and the whole tile falls off.
Therefore, tiles with a large amount of mold release agent residues on the back of the tiles have a greater risk of hollowing out. In order to lay strong tiles, the release agent on the back of the tiles must be cleaned.
cleaning method
1. Use a towel or a steel brush to directly clean the tiles with a small amount of mold release agent residue;
2. If there is a large amount of mold release agent residue, it is difficult to clean, and the back of the tile needs to be wet soaked. After the release agent absorbs water and becomes soft, brush it off with a steel ball, and finally rinse it with water;
