On August 18th, the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice publicly soliciting opinions on four mandatory national standards (draft for approval), including "Passenger Car Tyres" and "Truck Tyres".
Car tires and truck tires are the basis and market access standards for CCC certification of car tires and truck tires, respectively.
In recent years, with the continuous development of China's tire technology and the continuous upgrading of tire products, the current version can no longer fully meet the needs of the market.
The revision of two mandatory national standards was initiated in October 2019 and has received widespread attention and active participation from the tire and related industries.
To ensure the scientificity, rationality, and operability of the content of the standard (draft for approval), scientific research institutes, tire production enterprises, testing institutions, certification departments, and automotive enterprises and other sectors of society are invited to fully express their opinions.
The public announcement period is from August 18, 2023 to September 17, 2023.
