On November 8, 2022, the Argentine Ministry of Economy issued Announcement No. 801 of 2022, which, at the request of the Argentine Toy Industry Association (CAIJ), launched an anti-dumping sunset review investigation on rubber balloons originating in China.
The product involved in the case is described as: rubber balloons of various shapes, sizes and colors, whether printed or not, including water balloons; The tax numbers of MERCOSUR are 9503.00.99 and 9505.90.00. The announcement shall take effect as of the date of issuance.
During the investigation of the case, the current anti-dumping duty continued to be effective.
The dumping investigation period of this case is from July 2021 to October 2022. The interested parties shall submit their responses within 30 days from the receipt of the questionnaire and submit the relevant materials of the case before January 17, 2023.
The relevant materials and answers should be translated into Spanish by the registered translator of the Arab country and certified by the Embassy and Consulate of the Arab Republic in China. The interested parties involved in the investigation shall also attach the certification documents to prove their qualification of signing rights with the materials.
