On February 9, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China announced the "2022 annual green manufacturing list", and Triangle Tire Co., Ltd. was selected as the "green factory" list.
In order to comprehensively promote green manufacturing, help the industrial sector to achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality as soon as possible, and implement the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" for the Green Development of Industry, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China organized experts to review and determine the list on the basis of the recommendation of the provincial competent departments of industry and information technology of the advantageous enterprises in green manufacturing.
Triangle tire is the leader of scientific and technological innovation in China's tire industry and the initiator and pioneer of low-carbon green development. As early as 2009, Triangle Tyre proposed "low-carbon economy, green manufacturing" and "building a new model of productivity development", advocating and promoting "low-carbon travel", actively developing new technologies, new equipment and new processes, and serving the global market with innovative technological strength and "green" products. Up to now, six series of triangular tires have been listed in the list of green design products of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, and were listed in the first batch of green design ecological demonstration enterprises of industrial products of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China in 2019, and were rated as the second batch of provincial green factories of Shandong Province in 2022.
In recent years, Triangle Tire has adhered to the direction of "low-carbon, green and high-quality development", continuously increased the application of new energy conservation and environmental protection technologies in the production and manufacturing system, and built the industry's first three-megawatt rooftop photovoltaic power plant; In the utilization of water resources, all reclaimed water has been recycled; In the use of raw materials, cooperate with well-known enterprises and universities to jointly carry out the research and development of new green environmental protection raw materials; In terms of product development, the concept of ecological design has been integrated into the project control procedures and management system, and a number of fuel-saving products have been developed, such as energy-saving truck drive series, economical TE301 passenger tire series, etc; In terms of equipment and facilities, through technical transformation and process innovation, the energy consumption per unit of production has decreased by 5% in the past three years, realizing low-carbon, green, environmental protection and efficient production.
