According to public information, Augustine Pedroni joined Bridgestone in Argentina in 1996, and successively engaged in administrative management, sales and marketing in the Argentine market, Latin American market and South American market. In 2019, Augustine Pedroni came to Bridgestone Asia Pacific as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, and later became Chief Operating Officer of Asia Pacific.
According to the plan, Bridgestone Group is committed to creating value for society and customers as an enterprise providing sustainable development solutions by 2050.
Augustine Pedroni also said that Bridgestone currently has about 4200 employees in China. "We are committed to achieving growth in China, an important strategic market, and contributing to the progress and development of Chinese society.
With sustainable development becoming an important issue of global concern, Bridgestone Group launched the "Bridgestone E8 Commitment" for 2030 in March 2022. "Bridgestone E8 Commitment" consists of eight Bridgestone value orientations (Energy, Ecology, Efficiency, Extension, Economy, Emission, Ease, and Power) beginning with the English letter "E".
