On December 29, the acceptance and achievement appraisal meeting of the project "R&D of Portable Near Infrared Equipment for Determination of Dandelion Rubber Content" organized by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation was held in Beijing University of Chemical Technology Conference Center. General Cao Baoyu, former General Assembly Science and Technology Committee, Zhang Liqun, Vice President of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Zheng Wenrong, Vice President of China Natural Rubber Association, and top domestic experts from the fields of precision instrument manufacturing, rubber plant research, analytical measurement testing and resource and environmental management attended the meeting.
The meeting was first given by Vice President Zhang Liqun to introduce the background of the project. This project is fully funded by Shandong Linglong Tire Co., Ltd. under the situation of serious shortage of natural rubber resources in my country and the vast majority of natural rubber raw materials relying on imports. Rubber grass, as the second best germplasm breeding cycle of natural rubber plants in my country, solves the problem of "stuck neck" in the rubber industry. On behalf of the project team, Professor Dong Yiyang from the School of Life Science and Technology of Beijing University of Chemical Technology gave a comprehensive introduction and in-depth explanation of the research and development of portable near-infrared equipment. By establishing a near-infrared spectral database, the project team optimized the NIR model that can accurately characterize the rubber content of the fresh roots of rubber grass, integrated it into a convenient instrument, and developed a detection method. The detection throughput can reach 400 samples while satisfying high-precision detection. / day, greatly shortening the detection time of rubber grass content.
The members of the project team demonstrated on the spot the quantitative analysis of dandelion rubber by portable pyrolysis gas chromatography, and at the same time, the portable near-infrared prototype of the project was used to quickly determine the rubber content in the fresh root samples of dandelion rubber grass, and the relative error of the results was within 0.5% of the actual content. The level is only 1.85%, and the test accuracy is excellent.
Under the auspices of the expert committee, the participating experts conducted detailed inquiries, acceptance and appraisal of the project. After collective discussion and summary, the expert group of the appraisal committee finally formed a consensus acceptance and appraisal opinion: the project has advanced technical indicators, strong applicability, and reliable performance of the testing prototype, reaching the international leading level.

The successful development of the portable dandelion rubber content determination device has realized the real-time accurate detection of dandelion rubber for the first time at home and abroad, greatly shortening the detection cycle and improving the detection efficiency, not only solving the long-term limitation of rubber grass species selection, The key technical problems in the process of expansion and dandelion rubber industrialization also represent major breakthroughs and innovations in the research and development of plant rubber testing technology and equipment in my country.
The research results of this project have completely independent intellectual property rights, and can be extended to the rapid detection of rubber latex and eucommia rubber, as well as rapid screening of chicory inulin or sugarcane sugar.
