Carbon black has both inhibitory and pro-oxidative effects in rubber. In the presence of chain-breaking antioxidants, the inhibitory effect of carbon black is reduced, or the protective effect of antioxidants is reduced in the presence of carbon black. It is clear that It shows that there is a confrontational effect between them.
2. The effect of adding grass means that the protective effect produced by the combined use of antioxidants is equal to the sum of their respective use. When choosing and using antioxidants together, it is the most basic requirement to produce the effect of adding grass. The combined use of the same type of anti-aging agent usually only produces the effect of adding grass, but sometimes other benefits can be obtained after combined use. For example, the combined use of two phenolic antioxidants with different volatilities can not only produce the addition effect, but also exert the inhibitory effect in a wider temperature range than the same amount of a single antioxidant.
3. Synergistic effect means that the combined effect of antioxidants is greater than the sum of the effects of each antioxidant used alone.
